We’ve lost three great E-Teamers in the past several weeks. They were also good friends to many of us. Please remember their families in your prayers.

Henry Muse died on 2/19/2025 after side effects from his second battle with cancer. Henry retired from E-Systems/Raytheon 12/31/2011 as a member of the Science and Technology group as a mathematician.

It is with great sadness that we wanted to let everyone know that John Tietze passed away March 7th. He was such a fixture in Building 580 as the CE of the processing systems. Crays, SGIs, huge storage systems, etc, etc, etc. He and his teams delivered very cutting edge technologies for National Security. It was an honor to work with him! More importantly he was a great man and a good friend to so many. He always made you laugh. So many Tietze stories!!

Services will be held March 24th at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8500 Cross Mountain Trail, San Antonio 78255. Visitation will be at 10:30, Mass at 11 and a reception after in the Hall behind the sanctuary.

Norm Dixon passed March 14, 2025, after a years-long debilitating illness. His widow Karen sends this note:

“Norm passed yesterday afternoon. They covered him with the flag and had an honor walk thru the hospital after making an announcement over the pa system that a veteran will be coming thru. A lot of vets stood along the wall with hands in salutes as he passed by. One vet came to me and acknowledged him to me. All so very very nice and emotional for all of us. We meet with Resthaven on Monday to make arrangements and give info to us. Will let u know what we find out.”

UPDATE: Services 4/3/25–9:00 am at Resthaven Rockwall TX. Interment 11:15 at DFW National Cemetery.
