Marilyn Donaldson Clark passed away on April 11, 2025 in Jacksonville Florida, from complications she developed after a fall. She was 88. She was born Mary Gamboa in Boston on March 11, 1937 and moved to Texas in the mid 1950’s. She worked at the Garland Division as a secretary in the 1960’s (then LTV ElectroSystems) and 1970’s (well, you know the rest ….), where she met her second husband, James Burton Clark (who himself passed away in January of 2012), an assistant to Dave Tacke. She was active in the Professional Secretaries International chapter.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim Donaldson and Lisa Donaldson, and two stepchildren, Jim Clark and Holly Miller, and her younger sister Judie McNeil.
She frequently said “my best friends were those I met at E-Systems.” According to her daughter Kim Donaldson, if any of them are still around she would want them to know she forever missed those Friday lunches, especially the ones at Pancho’s.
