Edward passed away on August 2, 2025. His death darkened the skies for those who loved this gentle soul known for his kind heart, an infectious sense of humor, a commitment to church and community, and a passion for fishing and golf.
A memorial service is planned for August 20, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.

Ed gcompleted both his undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and served a tour in the United States Navy during the Korean War receiving the National Defense Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal with two stars, and the China Service Medal.
